Hurricane Michael response continued after KaiserKane Storm was selected for Phase II based on performance in the Emergency Phase. The City required continued clearing of the right of way clearing to include C & D, Rubble, Vegetation and Marsh Grass. Provided multiple passes to open roadways to provide access to utility repairs; Removal of Hazardous Leaners/ Hangers including those in/or adjacent to canals; Relocating white goods, vehicles and boats to City yard; Private property debris removal; beach cleanup to include sand sifting – 35,000 CY and ver 3 miles of coastline; development and maintenance of disaster debris management site including material sorting reduction and haul to final disposal. Added to this phase was the removal of debris from all waterways and sonar confirmation of results over 33,000 linear feet of canals.

Florida Hurricane Irma Disaster Debris Removal, Disposal and Removal of Hazardous Leaners and Hangers in FDOT District 2. The counties effected by the cleanup operation were Nassau, Duval, St. Johns, Clay and Putnam. Vegetative and C&D debris removal and disposal for approximately 3,500 miles of roads, including Interstate I-95, I-10, I-295 and I-A1A from Flagler County line to the Georgia state line. Disposal via grinding which included 7 debris management site set up / preparation and closeout / restoration sites per FDEP rules and regulations. Removal and disposal of over 59,000 hazardous trees. The debris removal process included double barrel knuckleboom trucks, trailers, bucket trucks, chippers and grinders.
